Introduction

On this page you will find easy-to-understand guides for the Navtilus G/L Tools extension in Business Central. These guides cover the five powerful tools included in the extension, designed to improve your financial management in Business Central.

Before you start using the app

Make sure that the correct licenses and permissions are assigned in Business Central. If you are unsure how to do this, you can find a guide here on our website: Navtilus | Guides. The guide is called “Purchase on AppSource” and includes videos showing what to do.

Important! Before you begin:

The extension contains three permission sets that must be assigned to users:

1. Basis User
   1. This is a basic permission that must be assigned to all users.
   2. It ensures that the system can load the tables when a user logs in.
   3. We recommend that this permission is included in your general standard basic user permissions.
2. Full User
   1. Should be assigned to users who need to access and use the tools, but not configure them.
3. Admin User
   1. Should be assigned to users who are responsible for setting up and customizing the tools.

Make sure that the appropriate permission sets are assigned so that all users can work seamlessly with the solution.
