Section titled “Additional information”This section provides reference information for Mandatory Fields, including permission sets and user groups that are included with the extension. Editing this setup is not expected.
Permission sets
Section titled “Permission sets”The Mandatory Fields extension includes the following permission sets:
- MANDATORYFIELD_READ
Assign this permission set to all users who need to view Mandatory Fields validation and banners.
This permission set can be assigned directly to users or through a user group.
- MANDATORYFIELD_SETUP
Assign this permission set to users who are allowed to create or modify Mandatory Fields setups.
Any user who runs the Assisted Setup wizard must have this permission set.
Users who have either the SUPER or SUPER (DATA) permission set already have full access to Mandatory Fields setup and tables.
User groups
Section titled “User groups”The Mandatory Fields extension includes the following user group:
MANDATORYFIELD_READ Use this user group to assign the MANDATORYFIELD_READ permission set to multiple users at once, as described in the Assign read permissions section.
